    Locals Window (2003)

How come sometimes the variable type in the VBA Editor Locals window is displayed twice separated by a forward slash? (Please see picture)

For "simple" data types such as Integer, Boolean or String, you'll see the type listed only once.
For "complex" data types, you'll see the general type followed by the current data type.
For example, a variable might be declared as Variant. If it currently holds a Long (32 bit whole number), you'll see Variant/Long.
And if a variable is declared as Control, and currently is set to a combo box, you'll see Control/ComboBox.
If the general and current data type are the same, you'll see the type listed twice.

    Thank you Hans,
You're the real help-on-line as I cannot find such info anywhere else.
