Filename and Path

Hello all, I am an IT Trainer who should really know the answer to this, but am struggling.

Any idea how I can insert (like a field in Word or Excel) the Filename (and path if possible) into a PowerPoint 97/2000 presentation.

Thanks for your help folks.

Re: Filename and Path

Here's a thought. Make sure the footer is being displayed, by going to the View menu, choosing Header and Footer, then turning on the footer. Next run this macro:

Sub PathFileName()
On Error GoTo errPathFileName
ActivePresentation.Slides.Range.HeadersFooters.Foo ter.Text = Application.ActivePresentation.FullName
exitPathFileName:
Exit Sub
errPathFileName:
MsgBox "Problem Setting Filename and path", vbExclamation, "Warning"
Resume exitPathFileName
End Sub

(I'm sure someone may have more efficient code, but hey it's too early in the morning)
