    Calculate with a sub-form (2003 SP2)

I'm sure I've seen this before, but can't seem to find it.

However I can't remember the syntax for a calculated text box (in a form) to add one field , on the main form, to another, in a sub form.

    TIA

You can set the control source of the text box on the main form to

    =[TextboxOnMainForm]+[SubformName]![TextBoxOnSubform]

substituting the appropriate names. You should use the name of the subform as a control on the main form; this is not necessarily the same as the name of the subform in the database window.
