    Autonumbering in table column (2003)

In a Word table's Column, I need to put decimal numbering (auto-incrementing) as shown in screenshot - how can I automate this in Word?

In Excel it's much easier but I NEED to do this in Word!

For this requirement, yes! But for the next table, it'll be 400, then 500 and so on.

    TIA.

    You could do the following:
    - Select the column you want to number.
    - Select Format | Bullets and Numbering...
    - Activate the Numbered tab.
    - Click on the 1., 2., 3. tile.
    - Click Customize...
    - Remove the period after the number, and type 300. before it.
    - Click OK (twice).
    - The numbering will automatically be incremented as you add new rows.

For the next table, apply the same numbering, then customize it to use 400 instead of 300, and to restart at 1.
