    Google Video (2002 sp3)

I have a Google video clip that I would like to run from within Powerpoint. I have the Google video player installed.

I cannot insert as an object, error message 'Its isn't possible to create a link'. If I use an Action Button and hyperlink to the file I get the error message 'No Program is registered to open this file'.

Is it possible to open the Google Video player from within PowerPoint and run the video?

Try associating Google Video Player with the .gvi file type in Windows Explorer (Tools | Folder Options..., File Types tab)

    Hello Hans

The file type is already associated in Windows Explorer. I have a solution, I set the 'Run Program' in the Action Button setting and pointed to the Google video program and the file location and name. This works. Should have worked on the problem more rather than asking the question too soon.

    Thanks
