    Worksheet.Select Problem (Excel 2000/2003)

    Hi

    I have been using the following for months now, and suddenly this morning it stopped working. and instead the workbook opens where ever it was when closed.

    I have tried all the obvious like check spelling and extra spaces, I have eliminated that by copy and paste both ways

    Private Sub Workbook_Open()
    Worksheets("Input").Select

    End Sub
    Any suggestions as to where else I can check.

    NB: it works fine in other workbooks

    Many Thanks

    Braddy

    Does the problem persist if you quit and restart Excel?

    Can you attach a stripped down copy of the workbook? You can clear the contents of all worksheets. Zip the file if necessary.

    Hi Hans

    It seems the mere mention of your name seems to put the fear of God into Excel, <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15> I opened the file to strip it down and it worked, so I tried several more times and it still worked,

    I had previously tried about 20 times before I made the post. and it never worked.

    As Enstein said: Not everything that can be counted counts, and not everything that counts can be counted."

    Many Thanks

    Oh, well...
    Let's hope the workbook will behave itself from now on.
