    NTbackup for Vista

    Interesting overview of the backup application (NTBACKUP) for Windows Vista - The New and Improved NTBACKUP Program. Looks interesting compared to the almost brain dead versions that MS has put out previously. Perhaps DaveA can comment about it.

    To get NTBackup to work fairly adequately on Windows Server 2003, we use the 'front-end' called Backup Assist, which does all the selection / scheduling / informing / etc which isn't in NTBackup, via a GUI. This makes NTBackup quite usable, and oodles cheaper for a charity than BackupExec or the like...

    Seems like Microsoft may now be taking backup seriously? After twenty years?!
