Delete Files (Word 2000)

In Word 97 WOPR put a "delete file" command on the "File" menu. In Word 2000 that seems to be missing. How can I put "Delete File" on the "File" menu in Word 2000.

If you are talking about what I think you are:
Use File | Open to get the directory listing, select the file, then click the X delete button.

Thanks. But what I was asking for is a "Delete File" choice in the File pulldown menu or Word 2000, as WOPR 97 installed for Word 97. The WOPR command was a macro that I can't find in Word 2000. Can you help?

It is a WOPR 97 command. It may be in WOPR 2000, but I do not know. I know that it is NOT a Word 2000 command. MS thinks one should use Windows Explorer (MY Computer) to do the deleting of files. This is why it was included in WOPR.

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.
