    Combining 2 or more IF statements (XP- 2003)

    In the attached worksheet example, I am testing for two conditions for the "B" column. One to see if the number in that row and B column is equal to 1 thru 4 and if so place the respective amount in D column in columns E thru I. If the "B"column cell is greater that 4 (>4) then place the amount from D in the respective row in the "I" column.

    The worksheet attached "2 if's" demonstrates what should happen with the correct formulas.

    Thank You

    You can enter the formula <code>=IF($B5=E$4,$D5,"")</code> in E5, and fill down to E11, then right to H11.
    Enter the formula <code>=IF($B5>4,$D5,"")</code> in I5 and fill down to I11.
    See attached version.

    Thanks. I was wondering if it is possible to do one formula which combines the two given the criteria.

    <P ID="edit" class=small>(Edited by sdckapr on 13-Jul-06 19:41. added PS)</P>=IF(AND(E$4="OVER",$B5>4),$D5,IF($B5=E$4,$D5,"") )

    PS:
    Or even:
    =IF(OR(AND(E$4="OVER",$B5>4),$B5=E$4),$D5,"")
