Help with Data Validation (Indirect) (Excel 2002/2003)

    Hi

I have created data validation with the Indirect Command.

i.e. B7 will give me the option of CBO1
or B8 will give me CB02 etc.

However I need a 3rd Option for example if C7 = CBO1 I need the list that Is in lists sheet G3:G4

    Please see attached

    Many Thanks

    Braddy

Where do you need this? In D7?

I don't see the point of column C, since there is only one choice, but see the attached. I created some extra names and used INDIRECT again.
Note: I changed the names because CB01 etc. are confusing to Excel: they could refer to cells in column CB.

    Hi Hans

You are quite correct about the one choice, I had intended to add the other choices later.

Incidently I tried the indirect C7 but I could not get it to work, I have lots more data to add, this is just a small sample.

Thanks you very much for the example it is excactly what I need.
