No 'Insert Signature' Option (2003 SP2)

We created a signature in Outlook 2003 for one of our users, but left the default signatures for both new messages and replies/forwards as "none". However, when composing a message on the workstation in question, there is no option for inserting the signature. Under the "Insert" pulldown, there are lines for "File", "Item", and "Object" (grayed out), but "signature" is not there. Any clues as to what we're doing wrong here?

Make sure that full menus are displayed (Tools | Customize..., Options tab, check box 'Always show full menus')
If the Insert | Signature submenu is still not available, create a new mail message, then select Tools | Customize...
Activate the Commands tab, select Insert in the list of Categories, then drag Signature to the Insert menu, wait until it drops down, then place it on the menu.

Thanks, Hans. We also discovered that by unchecking the box "Use Microsoft Office Word 2003 to edit email message", that "Signature" now appears under the "Insert" tab.
