Shortcut to switch tabs (worksheets) (2003)

I'm sure this is an easy one but I can't find the shortcut combination to cycle between tabs in a spreadsheet file. Is there one?

Thanks!

Ctrl+Page Down to activate the next sheet, Ctrl+Page Up to activate the previous sheet.

I'd forgotten about that trick - your reminder was very timely for a project I'm working on, so thanks!

I have, however, come across one proviso (for me in Excel 2002 at least) and that is that if a worksheet is protected and set so the user can not 'Select locked cells', Cntrl and Page-Up or Page-Down simply scrolls within that worksheet.

It's the same in Excel 2003. Unfortunately, there are no alternative keyboard shortcuts for switching between worksheets. You could create some macros and assign your own keyboard shortcuts, but I don't know if it's really worth the trouble.

It's not! I only thought to mention it to save someone else like me spending 5 minutes trying to figure out why I had this inconsistency

You can also use the right click on the sheet navigation arrows just to the left of the sheet tabs. This will produce a list of all the sheets in the WB. Simply click the sheet that you want to go to or use the TAB or SHIFT + TAB keys to cycle through the selected list (or up/down arrow keys) and then ENTER to get to the sheet.

PS: IS there a way to activate the sheet list from the keyboard. The right click keyboard button next to the right side CTRL button does not allow this. If there is a key combination to activate this list, it will also be very convenient when keeping the hands on the K/B.

AFAIK, there is no built-in shortcut key for this, but I'm sure you could write a macro to do it and assign it a keyboard shortcut.

Would you know (by any chance) what the code is for that menu? I cannot simply record the macro to pop up this menu, I need some customized VB instruction!
Any ideas?
