    Taskbar disappearing (Windows XP)

I have a user whose taskbar disappears at times - inconsistently. When it disappears, she cannot move from one program to the other with alt tab. All I have found MS KB is a virus suggestion.
There are no virusses on her machine.
Does anybody have any other suggestions?

    Thanks,

    itconc

    Re: Taskbar disappearing (Windows XP)

Since you say that alt-tab doesn't work, I'm assuming that it isn't one of those "accidental hide" problems where a user will make the taskbar zero lines high... <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

Kelly's Korner has lots of hits on it about the taskbar, and of interest might be line numbers 117, 164 or 195 but there are a number of other fixes or tweaks for the taskbar.
