Finding the entire site map (any and all)

Is there a way to learn all the addresses of a particular web site? A friend of mine has setup a treasure hunt and I want to cheat. All those addresses would make figuring out the clues a lot easier.

The way a search engine works is to try every link in a page, and then every link in those pages, and so on, and so on. That's pretty much the only way to discover the pages on a site without some kind of privileged access. That and Google (site:mysite.com search). <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

If the pages are linked from the main page, the full-up Adobe Acrobat has the capability of making a PDF of the entire site, one page at a time. You can select the number of levels deep, or "All." I haven't tried it myself; this info is based on input from a friend of a friend...

I used that feature when I had Acrobat "Business Tools," a down-market flavor of version 4. A plus was that it could "shrink to fit" when the page design is too wide. A minus was that it didn't work with sites that wanted to set a cookie. Presumably they have addressed that one by now.

OK, Thanks for the suggestions. I don't have Acrobat anything but Reader (Work took it away a while back because I only use it twice a day). Guess I will have to figure the clues the old fashioned way.

    Timelord

    Try this site http://www.sitemapdoc.com/

It creates a list of links throughout the site and then you can generate an HTML version....very quick and efficient

No good Jezza, seems to only return the main screen. The site is http://www.snigglezone.com, maybe I did something wrong, but I don't think so.
