    LINES IN MY DOC (2000)

    HOW DO I GET THESE LINES OFF MY WORD DOC. I HAVE ATTACHED IT . PLEASE HELP

    Please don't use ALL CAPS, it is the internet equivalent of shouting.

    The lines in your document are paragraph borders. If you want to get rid of them all:
    - Press Ctrl+A to select the entire document.
    - Select Format | Borders and Shading...
    - If necessary, activate the Borders tab.
    - Click None under Setting.
    - Click OK.

    For future reference, a lot of odd things that happen when you least it expect it are the result of AutoFormatting and, in particular, the AutoFormat as You Type feature. To learn what these are, visit the following menu option:

    Tools > AutoCorrect Options

    then in that dialog, click the AutoFormat as You Type tab
