    Outlook Automation (Access 2003)

I have an Access database that uses code to send mass emails with in our company.
Is it possible to have my procedure set options in Outlook such as the Auto Spell Check, the format, Plain text, Rich text...?

I have explored the object browser, but so far have not been able to find the correct syntax.

    Thanks for any help.

    Re: Outlook Automation (Access 2003)

As far as I know, spell checking is not exposed in Outlook VBA.

The MailItem object has a property BodyFormat that can be set to either of the following values:

    olFormatHTML
    olFormatPlain
    olFormatRichText

    Example:

    Dim olApp As Outlook.Application
    Dim objMail As MailItem
    Set olApp = CreateObject("Outlook.Application")
    Set objMail = olApp.CreateItem(olMailItem)

    With objMail
'Set body format to Rich Text
    .BodyFormat = olFormatRichText
    ' Display the item
    .Display
    End With
