    startup view (Office 2003-SK1)

    hi everyone;
    when i open word, the startup page doesn't show top margin.
    have to go to view>header & footer. it's a nuisance.
    i did f1 but tells me how to change normal.dot template, which is not what i want.
    tools>options doesn't seem to help either.
    any suggestions?
    thanks in advance.
