    Round to nearest .125 (2000)

    Hi All

I have a spreadsheet that calculates a numeric value to 4 decimal places.
    eg: 48.6574, 92.2556, 168.8695

Can anyone tell me how I can round the result to the nearset '.125'?
    eg: 48.625, 92.250, 168.875

    Have a Great day!!!

    Hi Steve

hmmmmmm....not working for me, neither solution.
    Both suggestions:
    86.1932 gives me 86.19375
    86.193 still gives me 86.19375
    I need the result '86.250'

The formula in the post Steve pointed you to is working with percents, so it needs to be modified a bit to work with numbers. Try:

    [post]
    =ROUND(A1*8,0)/8
    [/post]

    OK

It seems to work if I remove the '%'.

    Thanks again.
