    Customize Task Views (Outlook 2003)

Hi, I am trying to customize my task views. There are two issues I have:

1 - I use the Company field ALL the time and would like to be able to sort by this field - Outlook doesn't seem to give me this option
2 - I would also like to hide all my completed tasks - currently these appear with a line through them

    Thanks for any suggestions.

    1. Use the Group By function - right click on the field header 'Company', click 'Group By this Field' (unfortunately 'Group By' is more restricted than sorting)
    2. Filter the View - View | Arrange | Customize Current View | Filter | Advanced tab | set Field to Complete, Condition to equals, Value to No.

    Hope this helps.

Thank you John. It was a great help - particularly understanding how to get the filter to not show deleted. I played around but just couldn't work it out. As for GroupBy - I use this in my inbox all the time, so I don't know why I didn't try it before. Thanks again.
