Is anyone aware of a web based SMS service that can provide SMS services from/via another web site?
i.e. in a similar way that Altavista allows you to put one of their search boxes on your own site.
Thanks in advance,
Ade

Don't know if it will work from the UK but <A target="_blank" HREF=http://www.clickatell.com/>Clickatell</A> states:
" Clickatell is still the only site on the web offering SMS and Speedmail Functionality to your site ! "
So, if they are telling the truth, you ain't got much choice.
Hey! Thanks for the reply.
Clickatell certainly works for UK mobiles - I've just tried a test from their site. They state that it should work world-wide.
Wasn't quite what I was looking for though; the site that hosts the facility (i.e. my site) has to pay for any messages sent from it - as always, I was looking for freebie.
Cheers,
Ade
I think you'll find someone has to pay for the service.
I occasionally use the Lycos service and they tack adverts on the back-end - maybe that would be a way to fund it?
Otherwise, try Orange or Cellnet, etc. direct - see if they'll 'sponsor' it.
