    Wireless laptop on Ethernet net

Our home is wired for Ethernet, with a 2Wire wired/wireless router and a D-Link network switch. We had three desktops, two near the router and switch, and one in the far end of the house. We have replaced the desktop in the far end of the house with a laptop, and I want to remove the Ethernet cable that runs the length of the house. The new laptop connects to the internet wirelessly with no problems via the router, but I also want it to be able to share components with the other desktops that are wired on the net. What do I need to do in order to make this work?

You shouldn't need to do anything different to the physically wired PC. Have you tried this and found a problem, or are you asking "just in case".?

I'm unable to see the other PCs from the laptop or it from them.
