    Forecolor (97 2)

    I have a continuous form that I want the forecolor to show red if the value is negative and black if the value is positive.
    Thanks
    Cathy

    Re: Forecolor (97 2)

    I'm sorry I posted this incorrectly. This is not what I need. I need to be able to change the font to red when the amount becomes negative.
    Thanks Cathy

    You can set a custom number format in the Format property. For example for whole numbers:
    <code>
    0;<!t>[Red]<!/t>-0
    </code>
    or
    <code>
    0;<!t>[Red]<!/t>(0)
    </code>
    or for a currency amount with 2 decimal places:
    <code>
    $#,##0.00;<!t>[Red]<!/t>-$#,##0.00
    </code>
    or
    <code>
    $#,##0.00;<!t>[Red]<!/t>($#,##0.00)</code>
