cross reference to a heading (Word 2002 /XP SP3)

Hello

I have a custom heading style setup. its not numbered its just a heading style.

Is there anyway to cross-reference to this heading. Or can you only cross reference to teh Word heading styles 1- 9?

Perhaps Ill just create a bookmark around my heading and cross reference to the bookmark.

"Heading" means the built-in Heading 1 through Heading 9 styles only. You can use a bookmark. Depending on where you want the reference, you may also be able to use the StyleRef field. Looj up StyleRef in the Help for details.
