Mac questions are not off limits here, but considering the makeup of Lounge members and visitors, I'm pretty sure you're in the minority so your "hit rate" probably won't be as high as a PC user.

    Hi Tira

As Al said, there are a few of us Mac users here but I am a newbie with mine. I learned on PCs, which I still use. My recently purchased iMac is for digital editing for my home movies mostly. Doing a search in the Lounge for Mac or Macintosh brings up lots of interesting threads - and they are a bit humorous at times so be prepared! Another place that I've found that has been helpful is the Apple Discussions groups. One thing is for sure, it never hurts to ask here! The Lounge is my favorite and first place to visit!

Ask away, it can do no harm.

    Re: Macintosh

Thanks for all the info. I will check out the sites. The question is, my friend uses the mac, os 8.1 I believe. Things used to be fine but now since a couple of weeks when she wants to look at pictures in Google they all show on top of each other. I.e. there are 5 cols of pics (I believe) and a few rows. Now, instead of showing them nicely next and underneath of each other they all seem to be pushed down to the bottom row and stack up on top of each other. Any idea what could cause that?? Some setting or so? Thanks again. Tira

    Hi Tira,

What browser is she trying to see these pictures with? Safari, Firefox, Netscape.....?
