    Passwords (XPP Pro SP2)

Is it possible to password protect an individual folder? If so how?

    Try Microsoft Private Folder 1.0

    According to Microsoft,
"Microsoft Private Folder 1.0 is a useful tool for you to protect your private data when your friends, colleagues, kids or other people share your PC or account. With this tool, you will get one password protected folder called 'My Private Folder' in your account to save your personal files. Download and have your private folder today!
Please note: The software is free, and does not come with product support."

BUT Microsoft discontinued it already. You can still download it from here or from here.

    kaplinb,

Thanks also to you. I will see what it is all about.

I downloaded this but it has an.rar extension. Do I need some other program to install it. I didn't try because I didn't want to screw anything up without asking first.

    Thanks.

.RAR is an archive file (similar to .zip).

Look at http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=unzip+rar+free for free unRAR program.

    kaplinb,

Thank you. I didn't find a free one but I did buy a program that is supposed to do the trick.
