    Audio Tag Editing

I don't know squat about audio file tags -- just that sometimes you want or need to edit them.

Is there any good software out there, preferably free, for editing more than just MP3 tags? Seems to be a lot, but I cannot really tell if it's going to be able to do what I want.

    Any ideas?

    Regards,

Maybe you ought to find out more about tags. Then you might be able to articulate the program specs you want.

    Re: Audio Tag Editing

Hi Chuck, As a preface to your postscript what do you do after age 70 and you don't want to give up??

If you search on my Profile you will see that I have asked the same question. I have tried many programs paid up to US$30 for some, most of them are for creating playlists and the support from the most known (MM), well it went like this Version 10 is a new release we don't know. I was getting an auto generated reply to a question about a feature that no longer exists. Finally I was given the truth. It has been RIPPED off my system. I still have the thread of e-mails.

I have found that the best I have seen is "Microsoft Media Player" version 10.00.00.4036 (not the version 10 above) it has the worst interface I have seen but if you create a playlist, go to Library and select files or groups of files right click and use the "Advanced Tag Editor". I am still learning but this works great.

    Thanks for the audio tip.
