    Outlook Forms Error (2003 SP2 - 11.8010.6568)

    Hello,
I'm at a stand still in final stages of a custom form. I redid the default "while you were out" form by adding text boxes and also automating via vbscript behind the form. I can pull up the blank form just fine. I fill it out and send it. The person on the receiving end of the form gets a message when they try to open the form. It's "Can't open this item. The operation failed."

I've tried outlook in safe mode. No luck. I've renamed the FRMCACHE.DAT as the microsoft fix described. That also doesn't work.
Any ideas on how to get this going?
The only major difference between the original form and the custom form is the script behind the new form. That's it.
    Let me know.

Maybe it's a security setting somewhere? If this form is for internal use, has it been published to a shared forms folder on the Exchange Server? I vaguely recall that forms on the server have more permissions than "one-off" forms or personal forms.

The form is currently in a personal forms folder on a network pc. It hasn't been sent to the exchange server as of yet. As for "one-off" form, I'm not sure what that means?

By "one-off" form I meant a form that is created for a particular usage. For example, if you want to collect certain information on a one-time basis. In this case, it is essential to embed the form in the message. (When you first create a form, there is a checkbox for this.)

Because I didn't start the form from scratch and basically edited a previously made form, where would this checkbox be located? I assumed that if you attached a vbscript behind the form that it was already attached.

    Sorry, I don't remember. I only design a form every 2-3 years!
