Edit hyperlinks in text box (XP)

    Hi,

I have a form with a hyperlink control for a companies web address. When I view the records, is it possible to edit the web address directly in the text box. I know I can right click it and edit it in the dialog, but is there a feature similar to Excel when I can click on the web address and hold down the mouse button, and it pops into an edit mode to modify the text of the link??

    Just asking for convenience sake!
    TIA
    Regards,
    Rudi

You can press F2 to edit the hyperlink directly. You'll see something like

    Woody's Office Portal#http://www.wopr.com#

A hyperlink consists of 3 parts separated by # characters. The first part is the display text, the second part the address, and the the third part is the subaddress, if appropriate (it's blank in this example).

When you finish editing (by pressing Enter or Tab, or clicking elsewhere), you'll see only the display text again.
