Tab controls on a Data Access Page (XP)

I noticed that forms containing a Tab Control do not save as a DAP? Also in the Pages design in Access, there is no button on the toolbox for a Tab Control. Is tab controls incompatible with web pages?? Or do I need to activate an Active X control to draw up a tab cintrol on a DAP?

    Tx

Data Access Pages use web controls; the tabbed page control is not among them. Why do you want to use DAPs? They are rather limited.

What else must I use if I want a form on the intranet? Also, any reason why all other controls are available for web pages, but NOT tab controls??

Re: Tab controls on a Data Access Page (XP)

Most designers use ASP to provide a web interface to a database.

The controls available on a Data Access Page are not the standard Access controls, but web controls. Many of the same types are available, but there is no equivalent for some Access controls (such as the tab control) and vice versa (for example, the marquee/scrolling text control is not available on Access forms).

    Tx...
Would you know if ASP provides tab controls; or if you think of Front Page...are the tab controls in that application. (Sorry, I don't have Front Page available to check!)

I don't do web development, so someone else will have to answer your question.

Thats OK....I guess you are only human (not counting the six fingers on each hand! - <img src=/S/wink.gif border=0 alt=wink width=15 height=15>)

I'll await a gracious reply from the local web developer on Woody's...
    Cheers
