    Copying a PowerPoint Presentation (Office 2003)

    Can anyone help?

    I have a template (PowerPoint Add-in) that needs to open a presentation, then copy the presentation into the ActivePresentation. I have looked at SaveCopyAs but have noted that this is not what I require. The code I have in place is below:

    Presentations.Open FileName:=c_strSlide & "My Presentation.ppt"
    With Application.ActivePresentation
    .SaveCopyAs "New Presentation"
    End With

    This obviously creates a new presentation in the same location. What I require is to copy the PowerPoint presentation I open as a new presentation ie Presentation1so the user saves where required. Any ideas?

    Many thanks
    Jack

    Try this:

    Presentations.Open FileName:=c_strSlide & "My Presentation.ppt", Untitled:=True

    This will open MyPresentation.ppt, but it will be named Presentation1 (or another sequence number), and treated as a new presentation.
