    worksheet formula (2000)

Hello I have two columns displaying dates like so: 05/04/02 as in 5 April 2002. I need a formula to return the number of years between the two. I am awrae of the datedif formula but can only seem to get it to work when I put the actual dates in, I need it to work by using the cell references in whioch the dates sit. Any help please?

    Thanks Darren.

A formula such as =DATEDIF(A1,B1,"y") ought to work. If you still have problems, could you attach a small sample workbook?
