    image file

    im trying to print a document but i was saved as image file. i've tried to convert it to microsoft word but it didnt work. can anyone help me out thanks

    I dont know. I do know is that its an application and you have to fill in the blanks . so i did and its not printing. it says microsoft word document imaging file

    I'm sorry, that is too vague. If you have the file, you must be able to tell us what its extension is. If you don't display extensions for known file types, you should turn that on in Windows Explorer, in the View tab of Tools | Folder Options...

    In addition to Hans' suggestion about the file extension, can you (will you) tell us if you got the file from somewhere on the web so one of us can look at what you're seeing? Even if the file, hopefully now stored on YOUR hard drive, is a graphic file, there are ways in Windows to print graphic files without converting them to Word or anything else.

    That sounds vaguely familiar. I have a "printer" named Microsoft Office Document Image Writer. I have no idea what that is, but perhaps you can find some documentation up at Microsoft.com?

    What program are you using to open or work with this file ??? Is the file is on your system or on a server ??? If you right-click on the file are you given the print option in the dropdown menu ?? If so, what happens when you select it ???
