Save excel file temporary (excel 00)

Hello, I am not sure where this should have been posted but it has to do with excel <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>.

I have a workbook, which will end up in a post in outlook.

I would like to save this workbook to outlook on a already created userform, but i beleive inorder to attach to the post form I probably should save to a temporary folder on the c: drive and then attach the file. This will be done on other computers,
so i am wondering what a good tempory folder would be to save it and then attach.

maybe I can just save and attach it to the post form all at once. If not I am curious to pick someones brain on how I can tackle this situation.

You can e-mail the active workbook without saving it by selecting File | Send To | Mail Recipient (As Attachment), but then you cannot use a custom Outlook form.

If you want to save the workbook temporarily, it doesn't really matter much where, doesn't it? If you want to determine a location in VBA code: on most PCs, the path to the user's Temp folder is returned by

    Environ("temp")

If you are attaching the workbook to an email in Outlook, then it does not matter where you save it, as long as you have access to that folder when you want to do the attach in Outlook.
