    Exclude dictionary (2003)

I have read the instructions in the Word help and on the MS Help and support site here so I know that you have to create a Word file with a list of the words you want to exclude, and save it in the appropriate place with the appropriate name. But dos that mean that every time you want to add another word to the exclude dictionary you have to manually edit that file, or is there an easier way to add words to the exclude dictionary once you have created it? <img src=/S/scratch.gif border=0 alt=scratch width=25 height=29>

As far as I know, you have to edit the exclude dictionary manually, there is no "add word to exclude dictionary" option in the spell check dialog.

    Thanks, Hans.

Next question: the help tells me that the filename for the US English dictionary is Mssp3en.lex so that the exclude dictionary is Mssp3en.exc, but where do I find out what the file name is for the UK English one?

The same. Mssp3en.lex is for both US and UK English.
