Oddity - to be delivered year 3698

I am using Outlook 97 and all my emails that I send have a strange property "This item has been marked to be delivered after 12 December 3698" (This for an email I sent today (15 Jan 2001). (One I sent on Friday 12 Jan 2001 has "to be delivered" date of 15 Dec 3698). The mails are delivered successfully without waiting to 3698!!

Any ideas what is wrong and how to fix it? Note the Option "to be delivered after" is set to nothing.

    Thanks
    Jim

Were they created in the normal manner? i've seen date oddities with imports and messages created via code.

1-15-2001 is being interpeted as 15-12-3698 - are you using dd-mm-yyyy format?

Do you have all the office97 updates?

The mails are created normally - nothing set from any of priority/ voting/ delivery/ tracking. As I am in UK I use dd/mm/yyyy.

Outlook 97 has version 8.04.6614 - I think I have most of the updates.

    Thanks
