Renaming items in WMP Library

Sorry for posting this here, but I'm sure the Mods will move it to a more appropriate forum if necessary.

I'm wanting to rename various items in WMP (Windows Media Player 11 Beta), although this would also apply to earlier versions of WMP also. There just doesn't appear to be a way to do that, at least that I can find. Specifically, the items I want to rename are for Internet Radio entries. The best way to explain the problem is to view the included screenshot. The last item, "Beethoven.com local" is currently playing so it has the correct name associated with it, but the others as you can see are rather non-descriptive. I would like to rename them to show the radio call letters or something that shows what it actually is. Anyone know if this can be done? And, if so . . . HOW??

Have you tried:

Tools->Options->Library, tick the "Rename music files" and "Rearrange music" checkboxes.

What I've found is the option to rename only the "folders" that these items are located in. But the individual items themselves, i.e., the radio stations are not able to be renamed. When I connect to any of the radio stations, the name is changed to what it actually is. But when offline (not playing) then revert back to the nondescript names. I've included a screenshot of the Options that I have in WMP 11 Beta. It would appear that the "rename" option is only for "ripped" music, whatever that means. hehe

Jeff,
How about:
Options>Rip Music>Rip to this location>File Name, then click Detail options?

Bob,

Thanks for trying. But I am nearly convinced that all the available options for designating a "name" apply only to actual songs and not to the "source", e.g., radio stations. Renaming these radio stations doesn't appear to be possible at this point.

Oh well, thought it was worth a shot.
Have you tried the MS site or the MS Media Player forums?

MP11 is still in Beta, maybe a good suggestion for them.
