    Text size in Drop Down lists (2000)

    Hi all

    I've set up several drop down lists in a spread sheet. These lists are populated from a list on a separate worksheet.
    All text on both worksheets is Arial, 12 pt.
    The text in the drop downs is very small, about 5 or 6 pt.
    Can anyone tell me how to make it larger?

    Have a Great day!!!
    Ken

    If you've set up the dropdowns using Data | Validation or from the Forms toolbar, changing the zoom percentage is the only way to change the size of the list items.
    If you've used combo boxes from the Control Toolbox, you can set their font size in the Properties window.

    Ken,

    I had the same problem, I use this code to widen the cell that the drop down is in - it won't increase the font size but you can at least see the all the text - you may find it usefull

    Private Sub Worksheet_SelectionChange(ByVal Target As Range)
    Static lngCol As Long
    If Target.Count > 1 Then Exit Sub
    Select Case Target.Column
    Case 8, 9, 13, 14, 20, 21
    Target.Columns.ColumnWidth = 30
    End Select
    Select Case lngCol
    Case 8, 9, 13, 14, 20, 21
    Columns(lngCol).ColumnWidth = 5
    End Select
    lngCol = Target.Column
    End Sub
