    very slow booth (xp)

    ... my pc booth very very slow
    Solution???
    and the last activity of all process is the connection, possible?

    There is no general solution for this problem.
    - Do you have a lot of programs that start automatically? See <post:=594,409>post 594,409</post:>.
    - Are your anti-virus and anti-spyware programs up-to-date? And do you scan regularly?

    As Hans said, there is no solution, but there is a course of action:

    1. Update your Antivirus program and perform full system scan
    2. Update database for anty-spyware program and perform system scan. Use more than one anty-spyware program.

    Usually after these steps bootup process speeds significantly.

    3. Cleanup your system from unnecessary temporary files.
    4. Check your hard drive for errors.
    5. Defragment your hard drive.

    These steps decrease bootup time even more

    6. Disable unnecessary autorun programs.
    7. Set unnecessary services from "autostart" to "manual".
    8. Check event log for errors during startup, resolve problems.

    After these steps average bootup time usually reduces to 3-5 minutes.
