    VB - create .dll (VB6.0)

    Hello

I am wanting to create .dll.

In Visual Basic 6.0, I select New Project, and I select ActiveX.DLL.

This resuls in creating a Class Module. I dont use the Class module.

I add my code in the normal modules. When it comes to creating my .dll it saves the Class module. cls and I dont need this.

Once my .dll is created can I just delete Class1.cls - will that create errors?

Is there another way I can create my project .dll with a class module?

    many thanks diana

An activeX dll is going to create a class object because that's what you're telling it to do. How did you plan on using the dll if it doesn't contain a class?
