Importing worksheet from Excel spreadsheet (2003)

I am trying to import a worksheet from a spreadsheet but cannot work out the
    correct syntax.

I would like to import the worksheet emealig from a spreadsheet but cannot work out the
correct syntax. If possible specify a range.

    Any help would be appreciated.

I know this can be done using the import wizard , but l would like it to be done automatically , is this possible?

Have a look at this link to Microsoft. It goes through a series of scenarios and will help you

I am sure it is possible , l expect it needs to be with coding.

I do a lot of Exporting Access tables to Excel. In the example below, I place the worksheet range in the Range box. I use your file names in the example. (I'm not sure of your exact file name.) See if this helps.

No it doesn't need code, the answer was staring you in the face....you used the word Range in your question and lo and behold the word range is sitting in your graphic!!!!!! <img src=/S/shrug.gif border=0 alt=shrug width=39 height=15>
