auto correct/text (2002 and 2003)
Is there a limit to the number of characters in a given AutoCorrect and/or AutoText entry? (not the name, but the "replace with" length)
I couldn't find a reference in the limitations under help in Word.

Re: auto correct/text (2002 and 2003)
Unformatted AutoCorrect entries have a maximum length of 255, so if you select text that is more than 255 characters in length, the Tools | AutoCorrect Options... dialog will automatically select Formatted Text.
The length of formatted AutoCorrect entries and of AutoText entries is only limited by available memory.
