    formatting help (2000)

I do not use Project, but am in user support so I have to try. A new user sent this complaint today
"When using MS Project, the lines and date appear on the first page but not on pages afterward" I could use all suggestions for what she needs to do.

    Thanks in advance!

Could you get more detail? That isn't enough for me to go on.

    Try this
    1) Click on the Print Preview icon
    2) Click on the Page Setup botton
    3) CLick on the View tab
4)Select the "Print First "x" column on all pages (subsituting the number of column needed for x)

This should show the columns you need on all pages

To clarify the probelm: What she meant is that what I would describe as the vertical grid lines on the project timeline plot are not printing on the second and subsequent pages. She is printing _huge_ sheets to an HP650 color plotter. TIA for your help.

I wonder if it is a driver problem (I'm not aware of any project setting that would do this). Have you tested with another printer?

    Re: formatting help (2000)

That's a good thought. But due to the size of the sheets, there isn't any comparable printer to try it on. I will ask her to try printing one page at a time, and see if that makes a difference. Thanks for your help!

she could print out a smaller amount of info - to test on a smaller printer
