    Format hr:mm (Excel 2002/2003)

    Hi

I would like to format a cell with hours and minutes for example 8:15 would be 8 hrs & 15 mins.

    Please see attached

    Many Thanks

Select Custom in the list of Categories and enter <code>h "hrs" m "mins"</code> in the Type box. The quotes around the text parts are necessary, otherwise the h in hrs will be interpreted as hours, the s as seconds, etc.
