Page Border (2003 SP2)

Hi,

Please see the attached document.

I want to use a border around the entire text but not the footer. Using a page border includes the footer, while selecting only the specific text to enclose with a border doesn't work, since the said text includes columns.

Can you help? Thanks!

You could put a rectangle in the page header.

Not sure how you did that , but thanks Hans.

One last thing, which I just noticed: I'd actually like the border to encompass the header (but not, of course, the footer). Can you do that?

Select View | Header and Footer.
Click on the rectangle to select it.
You can now drag its top edge upwards.

(I used the Rectangle tool from the Drawing toolbar to place the rectangle while in Header and Footer view.)

If look in he Options for Page Border, you will find that if you select Text in the Measure From dropdown, you can selecct whether or not to surround the Header and/or the Footer.
