BoundColumn (A2K)

    Please Help...

    I have an option box that has and ID option and a SSN option. The user selects one or the other depending on the data they need to input in a combo box (tMemberID)

    In the OnCurrent event of the form I have the following code:

Select Case Me.fmDept
    Case 1 'ID
    tMemberID.RowSource = "q_PADMemID"
    tMemberID.ListIndex=0

    Case 2 'SSN
    tMemberID.RowSource = "q_PADSSN"
    tMemberID.ListIndex = 1
    End Select

    If the user selects ID option the row source for tMemberID is q_PADID and the BOUND collumn should be 0, otherwise if the user selects SSN the row source for tMemberID is q_PADSSN and the BOUND column should be 1.

    However, I get error msg 7777 invalid use of ListIndex.

    What on earth am I doing wrong this time?

    Thanks

    Re: BoundColumn (A2K)

    Why do you try to set the ListIndex when you want to set the BoundColumn? ListIndex reflects which item in the combo box has been selected. Try

    tMemberID.BoundColumn= 0 ' or 1
