Merging to Multiple Pages (Microsoft Publisher 2002)

I am writing on behalf of a co-worker who is trying to create a mail merge that takes names and birthdates from an Excel spreadsheet and then puts each one on a different page of a Publisher document. (Each page has a different styling, which is why she wants to merge to separate pages). Does anyone know if this can be done? Thanks. Penni

Publisher has fewer options for mail merge than Word. It doesn't have a 'Next Record' field, so your co-worker will need to place as many names/birthdays in one row (record) of the worksheet as there are pages in the Publisher document. For example, if the document has three pages, the worksheet would look like this:

    <table border=1><td></td><td align=center>A</td><td align=center>B</td><td align=center>C</td><td align=center>D</td><td align=center>E</td><td align=center>F</td><td align=center>1</td><td>Name1</td><td>Birthday1</td><td>Name2</td><td>Birthday2</td><td>Name3</td><td>Birthday3</td><td align=center>2</td><td>Mary</td><td>January 14</td><td>John</td><td>February 2</td><td>Anne</td><td>February 27</td><td align=center>3</td><td>Bill</td><td>March 1</td><td>Carla</td><td>March 12</td><td>Jim</td><td>April 4</td></table>

Thanks so much. She is not going to be thrilled, but at least now we know. You're awesome (as usual)! Penni
