    I don't have Excel for the Macintosh, but I assume formulas are the same as in the Windows version. To display the current date, use

    =TODAY()

    and to display the current date and time, use

    =NOW()

    Hans is corrrect but there is a very handy Microsoft KB How to use dates and times in Excel for Mac you may want to look at also.

    Formula for current date (Excel 2003 mac)

    Subject edited by HansV to aid future searches - "Excel" wasn't very descriptive

    Please how do you enter data formular so when you open up workbook it displays the current date.
