    Floating Help (MSO 2003)

Is there any way to make the help "book" float rather than moving the data over?

I suppose this could/would apply to Word as well, and perhaps Outlook. (?)

    Regards,
    Chuck Billow

The help window has a button that looks like the screenshot below. It toggles AutoTile on and off. If you turn it off, the help window can be positioned independently of the main application window.

    Hans:

It'd be great, but, being slow I suppose, I don't see the button.

In Office 2002, it is top left of the Help window, and toggles between two icons - depending on whether or not it is docked...

    Hans / Leif:

I'm sorry... I found what you meant. I was looking on the opening screens, but the button doesn't show up until you are at a topic. But then there it is.

    Thanks.

Too bad they couldn't just have a general option to have help separate and floating, or not. Seems a lot easier to be able to push help around without having your work area constantly adjust... but oh well.

    Regards,
    Chuck
