A Crystal Mystery

Jezza Bear was pottring around the Magic Forest when he was met by Al Bear Einstein, who was fussing and bothering over a photograph that Olly had given him. He was having a problem with scale, it appears his Photographic Unification Navigator was not working correctly and he needed to work out exactly what he was looking at and its size.

Al Bear turned to Jezza Bear and said "JB, what is this and how big do you really think it is?"

I went to see that a few months ago, I thought it was really good.

Modern Art is definitely not my cup of tea although I did enjoy Salvador Dali's "The Metamorphosis of Narcissus". For all these years I thought it was a large painting until I realised it was the size of a tea tray.

Give me my Renaissance artists any day. I was really miffed as I wanted to go to the British Museum that day to see the Michelangelo exhibition but the family voted me out for the Tate Modern. The irritating thing was that the British Museum is slam bang next door to the University and I was always just too late in the day to get there and have a good butchers Maybe one day I will have the opportunity, but I won't hold my breath as this was the first one in 30 years. Let's hope it will be in Europe again soon

I had a poster of that Dali painting when I was younger, and I was surprised how small it was when I saw it in the Tate Modern.

I found quite amusing that we go to the Tate Modern and see the The Metamorphosis of Narcissus and then 15 minute walk to County Hall and we have the Dali Universe which would cost the Bear family upto

    > Nice place around County Hall, nice restaurants and hotels there, great for meeting friends as it is so close to the centre of town

    Couldn't agree more.
