Unable to open link in new page ( ie 6 sp2)

Hi All,

I have some users who are unable to view links that are defaulted to open in a new page. The page will come up blank and it will say done. For example, at podhead.com when you select a coffee a new window with an order form should be displayed but it is not. They do not have the popup blocker enabled or any third party toolbars such as google or yahoo. I've tried testing several dlls from the run command and all were successful. I have no idea what else to try except maybe reinstalling windows XP. However, I'm reluctant to do this for about 30+ PCs.

Thanks in advance for any ideas or input you may have

Thanks Leif, that is the article that I followed previously and none of the solutions worked

I'm hoping that others have additional suggestions that might work.

When I click a "Add to Cart" button at podhead.com I get a window with a long paypal.com address like this. Can these users open the link by pasting it into the address bar?

Jefferson,
But when I go to check out, it does NOT have your credit card information.
How am I to use the link if you do NOT provide the required info? <img src=/S/evilgrin.gif border=0 alt=evilgrin width=15 height=15>

Now running HP Pavilion a6528p, with Win7 64 Bit OS.

Dave, all of my personal information is encoded into my userpic. All you need to do is subtract a photo of a sunset from that same island without me in it. <img src=/S/grin.gif border=0 alt=grin width=15 height=15>

The problem is that they can't even get to that page. Or any page that has been scripted to open the link in a new window. I've tried copying the page address and pasting it into a new window but the main page is what comes up. The same thing happens in other sites that are scripted to open the links in a new window.

Thanks for all your input so far

If the new windows that don't open are loaded from different domains, it wouldn't fall under this security setting by any chance?

If you are testing by by right-clicking the "Add to Cart" button and copying shortcut, then yes, you are not getting the "real" address, which is managed in the JavaScript that generates the pop-up window.

Is JavaScript being allowed to run in that page at all? For example, on the Decaf page, there is a drop-down list of coffees just to the left of the View Cart button. When JavaScript is enabled, changing to a different coffee in that list will navigate to a different page. With JavaScript disabled, nothing happens at all.
